Another in a series of Mills installations across the country, Arundel Mills brought the mega-mall concept to the Baltimore area. The Food Court includes 8 tenant spaces, 2 stand-alone kiosks, a full service restaurant, and administrative space, for a total of 24,000 SF and $4.5 million construction cost. The project required extensive coordination with multiple kitchen consultants’ layouts and equipment specifications.

MEC provided mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design services. Systems included air-conditioning and make-up air for each kitchen space, grease exhaust hoods, sanitary and grease waste systems, filtered water, soda distribution, and other specialty systems. MEC has provided similar services for Colorado Mills in Lakewood, CO and Discover Mills in Atlanta, GA.
